Projects.
Aswell as completing various projects for clients we are very much involved in quite a number of external and internal projects for Net Promotions. In a good way some of these turn a benefit to our client base projects as we expand our horizon. Here is just a brief list of some of those projects:
New Years Eve: (Online directory and expanded to Street mag)
Since 1999 the premier online directory for New Years Eve events and services in Australia. Millions of people use our directory to find out about everything NYE. In 2008 we expanded the breadth of this project with the introduction of the NYE Magazine. A street magazine with details of all things NYE. And 2009 saw the introduction of the Miss New Years Eve talent quest. So it continues to expand. This project continues.

Since 2008 we have built the premier online directory for Valentines Day events and services in Australia. Thousands of people use our directory to find out about everything Valentines Day. This project continues.

Since 2007 we have been building online directory sites for various public holidays and significant dates in Australia. These directories include for days like New Years Day, Australia Day, Easter, Queens Birthday and more. Corporate Venues:
Since 2009 we have been building an online directory site for Venue specific information in Australia. This Corporate Venues directories is targeted at providing information for the corporate functions and the like and more. Even from a short beginning thousands of people use our directory to find out about everything corporate venues. This project continues and we'll add more as we expand this.

Sales sites for retail. Various:
Since 2007 we have been building online directory retail sales sites based on significant dates in Australia. These directories include End of year sales, Australia day sales, Valentines day sales, Mid year Sale etc etc. Thousands of people use our directories to navigate for retail sales and offerings over those significant dates etc. This project continues and we'll add more as we expand this.

Race horse directoryInternal Project
Since 2005 we have been building a repository of information and skill sets on racehorse information. We work with various participants on this project. This project continues.
Australian Open SourceInternal Project
Since 1998 we have been building a repository of information and skill sets on Australian Open Source tools and information. This greatly assists our own clients and as we have seen the australian open source movement, in terms of coding and support, become more mainstream, that skill set has certainly been more required. Over the years we have worked with various participants on this internal project. This project continues.
Ozwind:
From 1998 Net Promotions was involved in the development of one of the first graphical interfaces for the representation of wind speed and direction that had massive public appeal. This was Ozwind. It became one of the most popular sites with those interested in the real time information provided from various sources. In 2007 as part of a company restructure the project passed to another party. We watch with interest.

Happy Snaps:
Since 1998 we have been building an online repository for digital images. This project continues.

This is just a snapshot of some of the internal projects we are continuing with. From time to time there are various other ones or ones that get consumed or integrated into the larger ones. eg. "Blow a Kiss" is one such small separate project that has been deployed across the various content sites like Valentines Day etc.
